The historic Bensberg Castle - now a 5-star hotel - sits loftily on a ridge above the city, forming a landmark that rises above the silhouette of the trees.
In the adjacent castle park with its tree population, the new city villas and three existing buildings with high-quality senior apartments, an educational academy and a wellness facility nestle against the hillside. The solitary buildings respond to the position of the old trees and, with their timeless design, form a coherent harmony of nature and architecture. The park is accessible to the general public and remains untouched by car traffic thanks to a large underground garage.
